It seems that for everything we do in life, there’s an app for it. From shopping for groceries online to streaming your favorite show, there is an app for everything. Are you looking for the cheapest gas prices in your area? There’s an app for that. Are you curious what the weather is going to be like next week? You guessed it, there’s an app for that as well. Okay, okay, I think you get my point. In addition to the apps we use every day, there are also some great apps for RV camping. We found 7 must have free, and paid, RV camping apps to help you on your next RV camping trip. Let’s get to it, shall we?

If you have ever tried to find that perfect RV campsite, you know the frustration of trying to find the ideal site through Google search. Often the results you get aren’t updated, so you get information that is somewhat less than helpful. In addition, trying to find attractions, places of interest, or hiking trails along your route is next to impossible. The majority of the time, you find these types of places by accident as you are passing them by.

HipCamp

HipCamp is one of the best RV camping apps we have found. Not only can you find RV parks and campgrounds, you can also filter the results for much more. Some of the filters are dog friendly RV parks, glamping, tent camping sites, as well as cabin rentals. You can even book your stay in a treehouse, if that’s your thing. I have to admit, that does sound adventurous. Whatever your camping style, HipCamp takes all the guesswork out of finding a site for you next camping trip.

Another great feature provided in this RV camping app is the “quick-book” feature for certain sites. This feature allows you to book your favorite site in just a matter of minutes.

If you have a campground or private land you wish to rent to campers, you can list it on HipCamp and become a host. (For a fee)

This app is free and available for Android and iOS devices; however, you will have to create an account to use the services. You can skip the setup process if you are just browsing.
