Pop up campers are towable trailers that can be folded up for easy transport and storage. They are smaller and lighter than the traditional travel trailer or 5th wheel camper. Pop up campers can sometimes come equipped with bathrooms. We made a list of 5 absolutely awesome pop up campers with bathrooms for you to check out.
Types Of Pop Up Campers
There are four main types of pop ups. There’s the traditional tent camper, high wall campers, a-frames, and teardrop trailers. Actually, there are a couple more. We recently sold a Hi-Lo, that would be considered a pop up. In fact, it was our very first trailer.
Although it’s not lightweight, it still pops up from front to back. And you have the Trailmanor, which is in our list below. Not all pop up campers come equipped with bathrooms. But the ones that do have what is called a “wet bath”, or a cassette toilet/shower combo. A wet bath is indeed a bathroom, however the toilet and shower are both together. A cassette toilet/shower combo is much like a Thetford Porta Potti.

Now to our list of some amazing pop up campers with bathrooms…
A-Liner Expedition Sofa Bed
This is the largest model of A-Liners. Even so it still weighs in at only 1,850 lbs. Dry Weight. It can be towed by Jeeps and SUV’s alike. This pop up comes equipped with a private, swivel cassette toilet. With it’s small size, it can still sleep up to 4 people with the sofa bed and a dinette that converts into a 40″ X 80″ bed.
There is no need to worry about ruining the floor because it has Performax 500 marine grade flooring, which is waterproof. The shower is located outside, so privacy may be an issue for bathing. The front of this camper has a diamond plate stone guard to protect it from flying rocks as you travel. For it’s size and weight, this would make the perfect camper for a small family or just a couple.

Conclusion On Pop Up Campers With Bathrooms
If you are ready to trade in your tent for a small pop up camper, hopefully this list will give you some inspiration. These units all have bathrooms, however, privacy might be a small factor. I mean, you only have a curtain to separate you from the rest of the camper instead of a door. And the fact that there is no black tank means that you will have to handle your “business” in other ways.
If your not sure which camper suits you, there is always the rent option to try one out before you make a purchase. RV Share has tons of options for motorhomes, travel trailers, 5th wheels, and yes, even pop up campers, with bathrooms.
